R o c k p o r t F o r V e t e r a n s welcomed
Ann & Keith Vandiver and Marc & Keri George and family
for a long weekend stay.
Marc and Keri brought along their two children, Valerie and Nick.
Keith and Marc are both on active duty stationed at Fort Hood.
They each have deployed a number of times to Iraq and Afghanistan
and Marc is about to depart for return tour - - their visit to Rockport
was a timely opportunity to escape from the central Texas heat and
and enjoy some quality coastal time.

all-volunteer operation - -
packing and shipping ‘care’ boxes to deployed troops
in Iraq and Afghanistan
- - the boxes include a wide assortment of warrior
essentials including: candy, snacks, lip balm, sunscreen,
chewing gum, magazines, stationery, and much more.
CBTS has shipped well over 9,000
boxes to our deployed troops.

The Brashear family aboard Captain Louis' boat...
The Brashear family traveled from Fort Hood . . . . and made every vacation moment count.
Charles and Kristi brought their family for a well-deserved and hard-earned vacation - -
their children include Derek 12, Dillon 9, and Kassidi and Kallista 6.
Tomi and Louis Newhouse invited the Brashear’s out for a fun day on the water - -
and on their last evening in Rockport, they were special guests at the
ARANSAS CHAPTER CCA annual banquet and auction.
The evening included dinner catered by Castaway’s of Port Aransas.
